Rough Collies
I was very fortunate to have some lovely dogs present today and wished I had been able to award more honours.

  1. Lockyer’s Redola Just in Time for Gataj - There is a lot to like about this lovely golden sable boy of nine months.  Gorgeous head and expression, well moulded foreface with good stop.  Ample arch of neck.  Plenty of bone and substance.  Good lay of shoulder and strong hind quarters.  He was a little reluctant when moving on the mats today but did enough for me to happily award him BP and went on to PG1.
  2. Ross’s Rahlissa Fairytale at Samshernik – Another nice puppy but very much less mature than 1.  Nice dark eye, rounded muzzle with good length of head.  Good arch of neck with correct lay of shoulder and level topline.  Well let down hocks.  Moved out well.  Very well presented.  She is a puppy who needs time.
  3. Davis’s Rosschell Crystal Blubelle.

  1. Lockyer’s Aaronwell a Solnyshko Wish at Gataj – Golden sable bitch of 10 months.  Good length of head.  Adequate length of body in profuse coat which was very well presented.   Moved OK.

  1. Wright’s Pelido David Weir – Shaded sable dog of 13 months.  Nice eye and pleasing expression with nicely rounded muzzle.  Good lay of shoulder and angulation front and rear.  I haven’t seen him for a while and was pleased to see he is maturing on well.  Very attentive to handler.  Very well presented. RBOB
  2. Aikman’s Highnol Heaven can wait – Pretty tri colour of 10 months.  Lovely dark eye with nice expression.  Good shoulder placement, length of back and bend of stifle.  Moved well.  Well presented.

Post Graduate

  1. Wright’s Pelido Weir

  1. Lockyer’s Willow of Surprises – This young lady took my eye as soon as she entered the ring.  Lovely four year old shaded sable bitch who I have much admired from ring side.  Very sweet eye and lovely expression.  Good reach of neck into level topline.  Correct lay of shoulder.  Well let down hocks allowing her to move well.  I was delighted to award her BOB.
  2. Davis’s Blue Crystalball -  Four year blue bitch of lovely colour.  Correct eye placement and length of muzzle.  Good arch of neck and length of back.  Carrying plenty of coat of correct texture.  Moved well.  Well presented.
