I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at this fantastic friendly show which was so very well organised with much care and attention going into the smaller details.

  1. Congdons’ Monsolana Bounty Taste for Aaronwell (Imp Rus)

16 month old tri dog who stood out for me today on his overall shape, make and balanced proportions. He is well angulated both front and rear with a really good reach of neck which can so often be lacking in a male. He moves out soundly as his standing construction would suggest. He has a clean wedge head, flat skull and nicely moulded foreface but his ears are wider set than I would like and I would prefer his stop to be cleaner. He didn’t have the expression of his kennel mate who took the RBOB award but on balance, I found him more correct overall with a pleasing outline when viewed in profile. BOB

2. Lockyer’s Gataj Fairytale Surprise

Sable bitch of 11 months . Well presented and stood and showed like a pro. Head handled well. Stop needs to clear. Nicely sized and balanced bitch who moved out well, very light on her feet. BP & BOS.

3. Patman’s Pick Pocket via Samhaven

4. Legge’s Erjon Eleni at Kalzan

Open Dog (5,1)

  1. Congdons’ Monsolana Sundevon for Aaronwell (Imp Rus)

4 year old masculine sable dog with a lovely head pattern and expression. Lovely well rounded muzzle, nicely shaped dark eye, neat ears, well set and used attentively. Good length of back to height ratio. He was carrying a few pounds more than I would like and too much coat for me today which also made him appear stuffy and affected his gait. Didn’t have the free flowing movement of his kennel mate on the day but a quality dog nevertheless. RBOB.

2. Legges’ Redola Just a Breeze at Zalkan

Rich sable dog with a super eye. Did not enjoy his surroundings today much but when he did use his ears, demonstrated a very nice expression. Could also benefit from losing a pound or two.

3. Lockyer’s Redola Just in Time for Gataj

4. Scamp’s Marketdene the One and Only

Open Bitch (6,3)

  1. Lockyer’s Gataj Jubilee of Surprises

S/w bitch, so similar in type to the puppy, I learned afterwards that this is her mother. Showing well today, with a well presented and well fitting jacket which I find correct and appealing. She too has a clean head but her daughter beat her for BOS with a slightly sweeter eye and expression. Kept her topline well on the move. Good length of tail.

2. Legge’s Lynmead Amalie Bye Bye Love at Kalzan

Balanced s/w bitch, in proportion overall but just too small. Showed, handled and presented well. I would prefer eye a size smaller.

3. Scamp’s Jaysur Swingtime to Marketdene
