I would like to Thank the Yorkshire Collie Club for inviting me to referee at theĀ  Championship Show held on 31/08/2014.

Thank you to all exhibitors for the wonderful entry bringing a variety of choice for both judges. In my opinion many of the winning dogs appeared closer to the breed standard, the main winners beingĀ  well balanced with correct head planes, slight but perceptible stops, and almond eyes that are obliquely set.

Winning dogs had depth of chest and well sprung ribs, level topline, bone and substance. Covering plenty of ground as they moved effortlessly around the ring, enabling them to do the job they were originally bred for.
