JUDGE - MR J BLACKBURN (ERJON)

I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of North Lincs Dog Club for inviting me to judge Rough Collies. I would also like to thank my exhibitors for their true sportsmanship and supporting me to gain the highest entry today.

Junior
1st – Pitchforks – Merrimede Lovin Spoonfull
Absolutely beautiful eleven month old sable & white bitch. She has the cleanest of heads with correct underjaw, good stop, lovely neat ears of which she used nonstop which enhanced her fabulous expression. Good reach of neck and although still carrying her baby weight this bitch has a lovely shape, good spring of rib, correct bone and excellent angulation both to the front and the rear to allow her to move freely around the ring. Beautifully presented. Moved well.

2nd – Copseys– Alanita Jasmyn Thro The Myst

13 month old Tri-colour bitch, not as sweet as 1. Clean head, nice eye, good ears, moved and showed to the best of her ability, presented well, moved ok.

Lovely 25 month old Tri-colour bitch. Her head is so pleasing for me, lovely and clean with a good perceptible stop and a lovely shaped eye. Her ears are always on top and when used to her full potential she gives such a warm expression. Good reach of neck led into well balanced shoulders, good spring of rib, good shape, correct angulation both to the front and rear. Presented beautifully, showed and moved well, Slightly unsettled in the challenge which lost her out on BOB. RBOB.

2nd – Killingworths – Sandhurstbay Secret Blue
Pleasing 17 month old blue-merle bitch. Very nice head with correct amount of stop, nice expression, good reach of neck, nice shape, presented beautifully, moved well. Not as settled as 1.
