SCOTTISH BREEDS OPEN SHOW - SUNDAY 5TH OCTOBER 2014
Many thanks to the Committee for inviting me to Judge and their hospitality on the day. Thank you to Exhibitors for entry and my Steward for assistance. Unfortunately, no mats were available and the floor was quite slippy, however, most of the exhibits managed the floor.

Rycraft’s, Kynan Silvershadow At Rydellsky: BP:. Masculine 11months old blue merle of good colour. Well off for bone and body with no trace of cloddiness. Good head planes and correct stop with almond shaped eye. Well coated and groomed to perfection, teeth clean. Ears bang on top which he used well and already showing like a veteran. In proportion throughout. Good length of tail. Managed the floor without any problems. Handler needs to relax.

1. Melvin & Jopson’s, Starlenga Streets Ahead At Nithview: BD, BOS: Most handsome 20 months old S/W who was a joy to go over. Correct head planes and stop set off by almond eye. Ears of correct size and used non-stop. Loved his head qualities. The softest of expressions and not a trace of coarseness. Firm underjaw. Good reach of neck into proper angulation of shoulders. Excellent length to height ratio and bend of stifle. Correct tail set and carriage. Good spring of rib. Worked in unison with his handler. Presentation excellent, teeth clean. Harsh coat. Another for whom the floor was of no concern and maintaining topline on the move. Absolutely splitting hairs for BOB.

1. Melvin & Jopson’s, Starlenga Street Fighter At Nithview SH CM: 3 year old S/W, Pleasing expression. Clean wedge. Ears used to advantage. Lovely make and shape. Immaculately presented. Another who managed the floor.
2. Brodie’s, Shanaburn Dallas Cowboy.
3. Rycraft’s, Lymnack Say You Will At Rydellsky.

1. McClelland & Brotherton’s, Ladnar Sweet Temptation At Alauna: Pretty 9 months old B/M. Feminine sweet expression, good ear carriage, balanced throughout. Furnishings to come. Excellent presentation. Was unsettled in her Class and on the move but moved well in Challenge.

1. McClelland & Brotherton’s, Willowdene True Ebony At Alanua (IKC): Pretty 10 month old Tri who had a lovely outline, attentive to handler at all times. Ears bang on top. Beautifully presented. Moved well.
2. Babiak’s, Erjon Ebony Diamond At Egalefalls.
POST GRADUATE BITCH: (1,0)
1. Babjak’s, Lynmack All That You Wish For At Egalefalls: S/W feminine bitch. Good make and shape. Pleasing head. She had a lovely day out and paid little attention to her handler or the proceedings. Needs schooling or perhaps Handler to relax as this fed through the lead to the bitch. Moved okay and settled and moved better in challenge with change of handler. .

1. Brodie’s, Shanaburn Magical Kisses JW SH CM: BB. BOB:What a madam this young lady is! Tri who did not put a paw wrong. Most feminine bitch with sweet expression who presented the complete package to gain BOB. Head proportions correct and super almond eye from correctly placed stop and lovely clean wedge. Neat ears used to her advantage. Good reach of neck and lay of shoulder going into a level topline and well sprung ribs. Correct tailset and length. In profile good length to height ratio. Groomed to perfection and clean teeth. No problems with the floor moving with drive both in her class and challenge.
2. McClelland & Brotherton’s, Danfrebek Dream Girl At Alauna.
