We welcome you to Rashel Collies, my name is Michelle, and my husband is Eddie.

It was 2008 when we had our first rough collie from Sue and Dave Randall (Ladnar) , and in 2009 we applied for the Rashel kennel club affix which was granted. We owe our roots to the well known Ladnar kennel from where our breed line begins . Our collies are a very important part of our family who we love and cherish with all our heart.

Although we enjoy showing them as a hobby they are most of all our beloved family pets. We have gained so much knowledge about the breed over the years and still have so much to learn. Not forgetting the many lovely friends which we have made around the show ring who have the same interest as ourselves. To be honest I could not imagine our lives without a Rough collie in our family, they have brought us so much joy, love and laughter and give me the inspiration in everything I do.

Our aim is to breed to the standard, sound temperament being most important, we do occasionally have a litter which is carefully planned. Our puppies are home reared and well socialized.

All enquiries are treated in confidence.

I would like to introduce you to the present day collies of our kennel.

Ladnar Kitty Foyle x Ladnar Doctor Pepper

Katie is the foundation bitch of our line, going back onto Ladnar Doctor Pepper and Ladnar Special Bond who was exported to Australia.she is the most loving sweet natured girl, who when not showing loves nothing more than to roll over onto her back for belly rubs and playing fetch in the park one of her favourite past times.

At Championship and Open shows Katie has been well placed. We hope to bring her out in the showring more when she is fully in coat.

We are soo excited to announce the safe arrival of Katies 3 puppies born on Saturday 30 August 2014, mother and puppies both doing well.

Theo has captured our hearts ever since we first set our eyes on him at Ladnar Collies. He is a real sweet mummys' boy who has so much love and affection to give. Not only does our precious young man have an amazing character and friendly temperament, he also loves running around whoooing playing and chasing the ladies in his free time ha ha. No matter where we go to the parks on our walks etc we always get stopped and complimented and what a fantastic young lad he is, this makes us so proud of Theo. He has had a fantastic time in his puppy and junior career picking up numerous first placings, BOB's and BPIB along his way. We have had so much fun with Theo in the showring, the highlights of his career being at Manchester Championship show Jan 2012 where he achieved 1st Post Graduate Dog, and Best dog, followed by BOB and shortlisted in the group. Unfortunately there were no CC's on offer - Judge Ann Ingram, Pastoral group judge Mrs Meg Purnell Carpenter.

A day which we shall always treasure and never forget was at Three Counties Championship show June 2012, when our special young man was awarded 1st Limit dog gaining his kennel club stud book number. Judge breed specialist Mr Geoff Duffield. A lovely start to the new year when Theo won 1st Open dog and Best dog at Manchester champ show Jan 2013 under Mr J Thomas. We would like to take this opportunity in thanking Sue and Dave Randall for allowing us to own Theo, and also to them and our friends for all the advice and support which they have given us over the years.

Stud enquiries welcome.
